This course is designed to introduce students on how to undertake effective problem solving with the ability to think critically, develop lateral thinking skills and to form well-reasoned decisions.
Learning Outcomes:
- Synthesizing the relevant rules of law into a logical framework for analysis
- If rules conflict, analyzing which rule a court is likely to apply
- Applying the identified rules to the relevant facts, including evaluating potential counterarguments, to determine the likely outcome of the case
